ABOUT
My research has addressed the causes and consequences of western forest disturbances, primarily wildfire and insect outbreaks. I've worked at multiple spatial and temporal scales to examine: (1) disturbance dynamics and successional patterns, (2) effects of past climate variability and future climate change, and (3) ecological implications of forest management and changing land use.
